Ryan's Birthday

We went to a farm for Ryan's 2nd birthday party.  It was great!  There were horses, ponies, chickens, goats and a play area.  The children had so much fun.
Costen loves animals and couldnt decide which ones to try to catch.

The children were able to go on a pony ride.  Here is Judy Anne, Ben and Costen riding on the pony.

Costen refused to put on his helmet, so he wasnt able to go very far.

Summer 2011

In July we took a trip to Utah to visit the family.  Costen loved seeing everyone and he really loved the music room at Granny's.  There wasn't a day that he didnt play on the drums.

Costen loves dogs!  In fact, my mom thinks Costen learned to squeal from my aunt's dog.  Here are some pics of when Costen crawled into Lucy's cage.  He just loved it, until he realized that the dog was on the outside and he was inside all alone.

Costen thinks I am silly for wearing this on my head, so I put it on his.

Costen has learned how to eat with utensils and gets mad when I try to feed him the messy stuff.  He is so independent.

Costen has started standing on his own and even dances without holding onto anything.
Costen was so tired that while mommy was doing dishes, he laid on his ball and fell right to sleep.  What a sweet little boy he is.
Costen is also a little daredevil who climbs onto anything and everything.
The Jackson's gave Costen a dog that turns into a doggy pillow.  He just loves his little dog.
Here he is getting into his wipes and about to pull them out all over the floor.  His daddy, who is watching him, is encouraging him. lol
Aunt Mimi and Uncle Gaga brought over a giant bear named Dudley for Costen's birthday.  He just loves his Dudley and says good morning to him everyday.

Grandpa and Grandma Kelly sent him his first tractor on wheels.  His daddy just loved it!  However, Costen was deathly afraid of it.  The truck is very loud and moves.  When Alan would hit the button, Costen would scream 'bloody murder'.
For Costen Birthday Party, we threw a Gator game party in Gainesville and had everyone over to grill, play and watch the game.
All of the kids had so much fun in playing in the pool.

All the adults enjoyed watching the children have to much fun.
The fountains were a big hit. There was even a time when Costen sat on them. lol

He is his birthday cake.  This is publix's version f a gator. lol  They made the cake for the wrong weekend and had to rush this order.  Either way, it was delicious and a big hit.
Costen had is own little smoosh cake!  He did quite get the smoosh part, even though we practiced a few weeks prior.  He isn't a big fan of getting his hands dirty. lol

With turning ONE, we were able to turn his carseat to face forward.  This was a very exciting milestone in his life.  Everytime we turned our heads to look at him he squealed with laughter, wiggled his arms and kicked his legs.
He started taking baths in a big tub.  The reason he wasnt is because we only had a shower at our old place.  He loves his new bath that fits all of his new toys!
He also loves all of the extra room that comes with the new house.
Costen also learned how to stand on his head. hehe I love when he does this.

Old Pics and Old Tricks

This pictures are from June and July.  I am a little behind, but can hopefully catch all of you up on what has been going on with little boy.  Costen's daddy brought him home a Thomas train to ride.  He loves for me to push him around the house and up and down the hallway real fast.
Daddy gave Costen his first haircut.  We were surprised that he liked it so much.
Here Costen fell asleep while drinking his mid-morning bottle.  I guess all the chores I made him do, really knocked him out.
Alan loves to watch Costen race to his bottle when Alan puts it down on the floor.  Alan likes to show off his son's skills to everyone that comes to visit.  What a proud daddy.
Costen is great at brushing his teeth every morning and evening.  I think he may follow in his Pops and Aunt LeLe's foot steps and be a dentist when he grows up.
For our anniversary, Alan found a great condo on Singer Island.  Costen and his babysitter, Rachel, came to visit us on the second day, while Alan was at work.  Yes, work on a Saturday, someone has to keep us in our lap of luxury.  The building had an amazing pool with a huge spiral slide that went into it.  Costen could not wait to go check it out!  The last day we had Aunt Debbie, Uncle Fred, Tammi and the kids come over to.  We all had a blast lounging by the pool and riding Costen's boat down the slide.
I took Costen down for a professional photo shoot.  The girls were amazed at how well he did and we have some great pictures from it!
